MOMENTUM
Momentum is one of the frequently used technical analysis oscillators. Momentum indicators measure the velocity of price changes.
The formula is as follows:
Momentum = c * 100 / n
c = The latest closing price
n = Number of days
The Momentum oscillator produces buy and sell signals when it crosses above and below zero. Levels 120 and 80 stands for unlimited buy and sell signals. Sell signals are produced when the indicator crossovers 120 level from top to bottom and a buy signal is generated when price breaks level 80 from bottom to top.
Momentum oscillator is calculated on a 100-point scale.
